Eligibility Criteria for KENHA Recruitment 2024

  • As an applicant, you must be a citizen of Kenya 
  • A minimum of mean grade D plain in KCSE or equivalent qualification
  • Candidate applying must not exceed 35 years old
  • You must excel in communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in the English language is mandatory. Kiswahili will be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with operating computer applications
  • Meeting the requirements of Kenya Constitution —chapter six (6)
  • Zero involvement in any criminal activity

Educational Qualifications/Skills

1. Driver

  • Applicant must possess a valid driving license free from any current endorsement(s) for the class(es) of vehicle
  • Attended a First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week at St. John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized Institution

2. Paralegal Clerk

  • Diploma in Paralegal studies or Administration (with bias in legal matters) from a recognized institution
  • A current Process Server Certificate or its equivalent qualifications

3. Assistant Accountant

  • Certified Public Accountant Part II or ACCA Part II from a recognized institution

4. Assistant Land Surveyor

  • Diploma/Higher Diploma in Land Survey or its equivalent qualification
  • You must have a Technician membership with the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK), (Land Surveyors Chapter);

5. Assistant Geographic Information System Officer

  • Diploma/Higher Diploma in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geometric Engineering, Land Surveying, Cartography or Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing or its equivalent qualification
  • Candidate applying must have a Technician membership with the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK), (Land Surveyors Chapter)

6. Draughtsman

  • You must be a holder of a Diploma/Higher Diploma in Cartography, Building, and Civil Engineering or its equivalent qualification
  • Technician membership with the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK), (Land Surveyors Chapter)

7. Inspector (Roads)

  • This role requires a Diploma/Higher Diploma holder in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering or its equivalent qualification
  • Registered as Engineering Technician from the Institution of Engineers of Kenya or any other relevant professional body

8. Assistant Supply Management Officer

  • Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (CIPS) or its equivalent qualification
  • Prospective candidate must be have a associate membership from KISM or CIPS or both or any other relevant professional body

9. Assistant Office Administrator

The following qualifications are needed

  • You must hold a Diploma/Higher Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) or its equivalent qualification
  • A member of the Kenya National Secretaries Association or another.

10. Enterprise Risk Management Officer

  • Candidate must hold a Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Applied Mathematics, Civil Engineering, Finance or its equivalent qualification
  • Be in possession of CPA II, ACCA, CMA, CRA, CRMA or its equivalent qualification
  • Associate or graduate membership from Institute of Risk Management (Kenya Chapter) or a relevant professional body / institution

11. Records Management Officer

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science Management, Records Management, or any of the Social Sciences
  • Applicant must hold a certificate in Records Management/Information Management or its equivalent qualification

12. Legal Officer

  • Possession of a Bachelor of Law degree. Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the Council of Legal Education
  • You must have been admitted as an Advocate of the High Court. Annual Practicing Certificate from the Law Society of Kenya

13. Physical Planner

  • Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or Town Planning from a recognized institution
  • Graduate membership of Kenya Institute of Planners or Architectural Association of Kenya (Physical Planners Chapter & Town Planners Chapter)

14. Engineer (Roads)

  • As the engineer, you must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • You must be registered as a Graduate Engineer by the Engineers Board of Kenya.

15. Assistant Director, Corporate Communications

  • You must have experienced for at least eight (8) years, with three (3) years in a supervisory role
  • Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Public Relations or its equivalent qualification are required

16. Assistant Director, Social Safeguards

  • A minimum of eight (8) years and at least three (3) experience in supervisory role in the Public or Private Sector
  • Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines; Law, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
