Eligibility Criteria for KAA Recruitment 2024

Only Kenyan citizens with an acceptable means of identification are eligible
Possession of the Kenya Certificate Secondary Education with at least grade B plain
Relevant years of professional working experience is required
Applicants must be proficient in operating computer applications

Satisfaction of the chapter six requirements of the Constitution with proof

Educational Qualifications/Competencies

1. Airport Manager, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA)

Applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, Economics or related field, from a recognized institution of higher learning
Relevant certification in Airport Operations, Aviation Safety, Aviation Security, or Civil Aviation Management is an added advantage
Minimum of 12 years relevant working experience with at least 8 years’ experience in a senior management role

2. Airport Manager, Wilson Airport (WAP)

A holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Management, Engineering, Law or any relevant field
Master’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field from a recognized institution
Applicant must possess certification in any ICAO regulatory training
A minimum period of ten years relevant work experience, four of which must be in a management position

3. Airport Manager, Wajir

You must be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related field or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution of higher learning
You must possess a minimum of five (5) years working experience two (2) of which must be in a supervisory position
Training in Airport Operations is highly desired

4. Officer in Charge – Ukunda Airstrip

This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related field or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution of higher learning
At least five years working experience, 2 of which must be in a supervisory position
Training in Airport Operations

For rest of the “Officer in Charge” positions, candidates applying must;

Hold a Diploma in Management / Business Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution of higher learning
Prior experience of three (3) years in a similar position
Training in Airport Operations
Applicant must be a computer literacy

11. Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Statistics, Engineering, Social Sciences or a related field from a recognized institution
A holder of Master’s Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning
Certification in Aviation will be an added advantage
Minimum of fifteen years working experience, ten of which will be in a senior management/ leadership position
You must attended a leadership course lasting not less than 4 weeks from a reputable institution
