Qualifications/Skills for KenInvest Jobs 2024
1. Managing Director
- Applicant must have Master’s and Have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Finance, Engineering, Law or a relevant degree from a recognized University
- You must possess at least 15 years of relevant professional experience with 5 years served in a senior management position in the public service or a large and reputable organization in the private sector
- Having an exceptional experience in investment modeling and delivery of transformational business climate agenda with impact on investments will increase your chances
- Candidate must have attended a leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks
2. General Manager, Finance & Administration
- This role require a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration & Management or any other equivalent and relevant field from a recognized Institution
- Candidate applying must have at least 12 years of experience 5 of which must be in senior management in the public service or in a large and reputable organization in the private sector.
- You must be a Certified Public Accountant (K) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or equivalent and relevant
- You must have attended a leadership Course lasting not less than 4 weeks from a recognized institution, demonstrate results in work performance and able to work with multigenerational staff
3. Procurement Assistant
- Applicant must have a higher Diploma where applicable-or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
- You must possess prior working experience for at least four years
- Candidate must demonstrate merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results with ability to work with multigenerational staff.
4. Internal Auditor Manager
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited University in Commerce, Accounting, Economics or in a related field is required for this role
- At least 8 years’ work experience with at least 3 years in auditing and accounting in a senior position in the public is required as well
- You must have the knowledge of Government and Donor financial and Procurement regulations and procedures, and local and international investment matters
